The second dive of the day also featured strong currents. The maximum depth of only 63 feet gave me a bottom time of more than an hour, and as it averaged considerably less than that my computer stayed within its no decompression limit (NDL).

This was the biggest Christmas Tree Worm I’ve ever seen, as you can see from this low quality video (I’m using a 2004 vintage pocket still camera, after all).

We observed several more big Groupers and Parrot Fish along with several more Juvenile spotted Drums. A few Stingrays were also seen, and the now ubiquitous Lion Fish.

So this wasn’t the greatest of Cozumel dives, but in Cozumel any dive is great.
